Sage: Short Cut (Function) Keys

It may be your preference is to use a keyboard rather than a mouse.
Sage have created some valuable short cut keys to help you :

Below is a list of popular Sage  short cut keys that I always show my students:

F6 – Duplicate field above

F7 – insert a new line

F8 – delete the contents of a line

Shift + F6 – to copy cell above & increment

F9 – Calculate Net

F1The online help file appears.
F2The system calculator; you can use to perform mathematical calculations and, if needed, paste the result back into a data field.
F3Displays the Edit Item Line window when entering invoice details. Accounts Professional: You can also use this key to display the Edit Items Line in sales and purchase order processing.
F4Displays the calendar, calculator or finder search list if the selected text box has any of these special buttons attached. Also, if you select a drop-down list box, pressing F4 displays the list.
F5Calls the currency calculator when the cursor is in a numeric box. Calls the Spell Checker when pressed while the cursor is in a text box.
F6The duplicate cell command in the Edit menu.
F7The insert row command in the Edit menu.
F8The delete row command in the Edit menu.
F9The calculate net command button.
F11This key launches the Windows control panel. Alternatively, you can configure this button to launch another application on your PC. Find out more.
F12By default, the F12 key launches the Report Designer. Alternatively, you can configure this button to launch another application on your PC. Find out more.

Open a module from the stack bar.Tip: The module’s position in the stack bar relates to the number you choose. For example, if Suppliers takes the second position in the stack bar, use Control+2 to open that module.
