One of the best lecturers i've come across and I've done a bachelors and a Masters. Incredibly engaging, concise and funny! Made law very enjoyable!

I would like to accept the verbal offer you made to buy your car for $500.

Aaaah! Sorry :-( Offer lapsed through passage of time, sorry. It should have been accepted within a reasonable time and, in the context of a lecture, it should have been accepted before the end of that lecture

Furthermore, as a matter of interest, your acceptance is now impossible because the object of the offer - the car - no longer exists

    But nice try :-)

From reading these comments I can see that Mike is no longer with us at Opentuition. This is truly unfortunate.
But may I say, what a wonderful lecturer! His explanations served alongside a spoonful of wit is amazing.
    Thank you.

Hi Mike...I have a general question with regards to F4 current course content...I am still using the BPP book of period from 19 to Aug 2020 however I am finding much of the content e.g. title of chapters are different...could you please notify me if there is a big change in the content and should I buy a new book please?

As I understand it, Mike has stepped back from an active role in being involved in OpenTuition and Vijay has taken over the responsibility of answering questions about the law paper

My own feeling about 2019 / 2020 material is that the law changes so little over the years that your apparently 'old' material should still be good

From memory Mike also had the opinion that a study text was too much and that all you should need is the course notes, lectures and a revision kit ... and loads of practice answering revision kit exam standard questions

But ask Vijay on the Ask ACCA Tutor forum - hopefully he'll say the same as me!

    Thank you Mike. Well explained.

Hello Mike, thank you for your in-depth explanations. Your videos and lecture notes helped me to passed my Law exam with ICAEW.??
  10. MikeLittleTutor
    That's great news, well done

Now let's see if the rest of the OT notes, lectures and other materials will help to steer you through the remainder of your ICAEW exams

You're very welcome - glad you're enjoying it (it's hard work when you're not enjoying it)

when then the purchase of goods in the supermarket becomes an offer ?
  16. MikeLittleTutor
The offer is from you when you place those goods on the conveyor belt implicitly saying "I wish to buy these goods from you" together with the implication that you are prepared to pay the price indicated on the shelves.

The check-out person scans them through the scanner and tells you the price at which they are prepared to accept your offer - effectively a counter-offer

If you are then 'happy' with the price as calculated, you pay the money and walk away with those goods

    OK?
