    is this zero based budgeting and incremental budgeting?

      It is neither. It is cash budgeting based on the information given in the example. Zero based and incremental budgeting are explained separately in my lectures.

    Hi sir, the volume variance is the different between the flexed and actual right?

    But in Kaplan Exam kit it mentions that the difference between fixed budget and the flexible budget is the variance… Can I get a valid answer on this as am confused on variance

    I’d like to say that the lecturer in this (and other budgeting videos, I’ve only watched these ones so far) is one of the best, most articulate I’ve come across. I’m using these series to supplement BPP, but I have found this gentleman to have explained everything in a level of detail that’s not too daunting but explanatory enough for me to fully grasp. BPP could do a lot by learning from this.

    I shall look to donate as soon as I can, but in the mean time; I’ve made my colleagues aware of OpenTuition to support their studies too.

    Thank you for your kind and hard work, this is fantastic stuff.
