    Hello everyone,

I’m currently preparing for the ACCA Management Accounting paper, and I’ve noticed some discrepancies regarding the inclusion of big data and data analytics in the syllabus. The official syllabus does not explicitly mention big data, but the study notes and some resources do reference it.

I’m looking for guidance on whether big data and data analytics should be a primary focus in my studies or if I should concentrate on the core syllabus topics. Any advice or experiences you can share would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you so much!

Part of it is the 4Vs of big data that are the characteristics of big data. Then there is how it is used by management to aid decision making.
