Ahmed, thanks for this. As you may gather, I’m not a Muslim. Everything that i have written or talked about re the Islamic faith has been gleaned from, principally, text books.
As any author would say, if there are any mistakes, they are my mistakes.
This is what the internet tells me:
“Sunnah, the body of traditional social and legal custom and practice of the Islamic community. Along with the Qur’an (the holy book of Islam) and Hadith (recorded sayings of the Prophet Muhammad), it is a major source of Shari’ah, or Islamic law.”
Does this make the course notes / lecture more acceptable?
