    Hey! (Copied from google):
“Zyzzyva has achieved notoriety for being the last word in several English-language dictionaries. Casey is commonly credited with naming the genus, although the etymology of the word is unclear. One theory is that the word was inspired by Zyzza, a former genus of leafhoppers.”

I wasn’t aware of that. I recently found a great word for when playing Scrabble.

The word is zyxt and it’s the past tense of a dialect form of the verb to sit

      Never heard of zyzzyva!

“Zyzzyva is a genus of South American weevils, often found on or near palm trees.”

” Zyzzyva has achieved notoriety for being the last word in several English-language dictionaries.Casey is commonly credited with naming the genus, although the etymology of the word is unclear. One theory is that the word was inspired by Zyzza, a former genus of leafhoppers. An entomologist at New York’s Museum of Natural History speculated that Casey made up the word as a joke, “to have the last word.””

I had never heard of this word either till I saw the above post. The above quotes are from Wikipedia. I have heard of a similar titled movie (that I believe is the lowest grossing movie of all time) though I can’t think of its exact title.

The movie I was thinking of was called Zyzzyx Road. Apparently it was officially lowest grossing movie of all time for a number of years. It actually starred reasonably well known actors – Tom Sizemore (Heat) and Katherine Heigl (tv’s Grey’s Anatomy). Obviously wouldn’t qualify for a dictionary entry or Scrabble.

    Mike
If the word limited can only be used at the end of the name

    what about names like –

    LIMITEDS LIMITED Company number 05880089
    or
LIMITED COMPANIES LIMITED Company number 09172808 ?

If, within 12 months after incorporation, it appears that the new company’s name is too similar to an existing name …

    OK?

    (It’s Mike, not John)
