Also in addition to previous comment – Office equipment does not depreciate? I’m confused now… It does? W&T and is accounted for depreciation if it meets capitalizing requirements.
TIME9:00 Land and buildings are likely to depreciate in value – Buildings – yes Land – decrease/increase in value – does not technically get accounted though for depreciation, right? Just to clarify, thank you.
Your knowledge and teaching style is extremely impressive. It鈥檚 so interesting to be taught by all these different lecturers on opentuition, all with such different teaching styles.. but all truly equally impressive and effective at teaching. Well done Chris, and thank you. You guys continually inspire me, I鈥檓 grateful.
i don’t know what these other guys are on about but thankfully it’s just a few of them. i have been struggling with this course for some time now and just yesterday i decided to check out your videos. i must say, they really helped me a lot. i was able to grasp the basics and i did’not struggle that much during the lecture with my learning provider. i was able to easily follow and i saw light at the end of the tunnel. i enjoy watching you videos because you are precise and brief and i am able to follow. thank you so much. all i need to do now is to beef up the tutorials with BPP notes. thank you
Thank you for the video. I am not sure why there are negative things being said about your style of teaching, but i genuinely appreciate all the effort you have placed in making all our lives easier with regards to this course. Thanks a lot.
Hi, in the lecture it says that erros in predicted costs, i.e costs more than anticipated are expensed… I thought that costing more due to wastage or error in prediction, is considered an abnormal cost and therefore is ‘excluded’ from the cost of PPE?
Any clarification would be greatly appreciated thanks.
Your classes have helped me a lot, specially in terms of the final revision cause thats the time when we actually need a techer to refresh our knowledge, and you’r by far the best.
Thanks Chris. Very good so far . I have minor clarification in CD. Will come back as need to see whether i can resolve myself while do more problems . Thanks again for this free lectures.
Thank you Chris for the new F7 lectures, I went through the earlier F7 lectures before June exams but I find your lectures very well explained & extremely helpful. The new style is precise, clear & straight forward which makes it easy to grasp the topics. I appreciate all your effort in teaching F7, you and Open Tuition are a blessing to us students -Thank you
Easily the worst set of “lectures” of the whole opentuition… I cannot believe it… I only managed to watch up to this point and I simply cannot get it. USELESS, without any backup… TOTAL waste of time
Nowhere near the level of the real lecturers like in F5 or F6.
Thanks for your opinion, it is valued. Could you please be a bit more specific about what it is that you are finding it difficult to get? What do you mean when you refer to backup? Do you need more examples and illustrations?
They’re just idiots. I find these lectures great! Very informative and i like the way you went over the FS as a recap to start. I recommend they go over the F3 main parts of the syllabus if they’re already struggling…
Thanks for the great lectures Chris!

hi chris ,
i am not lying i wish i had a teacher like you in my schoolings and universities, coz your teaching is just wonderful and amazing . very informative. superbly straight forward, easily understandable. your f7 lectures are worth every penny and my precious time
What do you find confusing about them? If you are more specific about where it is confusing and ask questions on the forum if you are confused then that will help, instead of putting sad faces on here.
How long do you want them? If they were any shorter then they wouldn’t have the technical detail properly explained. We’ve gone to great lengths to keep them as short as possible.
If you work all the lectures through to the end you will find that you have a fantastic free resource at your disposal.
