   Is Journal part of double entry system?

     It is part of the accounting system but isn’t part of the double entry itself.

   Amusingly, I feel the Books on Prime entry and especially journal entry lecture should have been placed amongst the first 3-4 chapters to be taught, wouldn’t you agree ?

     There is a button just above the lecture that says ‘download FA notes’. If you click on it you will then download the lecture notes that go with all the lectures including suspense accounts.
