Hey! 1) Those lecture at ur website are suitable for 2024? 2) Nd can we pass the paper by taking ur lectures nd revising ur notes.. Nd then by solving Kaplan exam kit?? 3)Nd can we ignore the textbook of Kaplan?
There have been some syllabus changes since this specimen exam (but the main course lectures are all up-to-date for the current lectures). Most of the specimen exam is however still relevant and the approach to the questions is certainly relevant.
Hello, Mr Moffat. Top the day to you Sir. I really appreciate your free but invaluable services you are offering through Opentuition. Keep it up.
I noticed you were reading the past/revision questions from somewhere which we aren’t privy to. Where can we get/download those past/revision questions so that we can flow with you.
Apart from the specimen questions on the ACCA website, past exam papers are not released for Paper MA. (It is because everyones exam is different – the questions are chosen at random by the computer from a large bank of questions).
For practice you need to buy a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers. It is full of exam standard questions to practice, which is vital to passing the exam. (If you follow the link on this page you can get a 20% discount off the BPP Revision Kit).

You need the notes as well because all of the examples I work through in the lectures are printed in the notes (and you need to see the questions I work through!)
In addition it is essential that you buy a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers because after finishing watching the lectures it is vital to practice as many exam-standard questions as possible (and the Revision Kit is full of exam standard questions).
Respected Sir, I wish to give my exam on 23rd October but I have a few questions. I watched and understood and learned all your lectures, notes and practiced from your test indexes. I have a Kaplan textbook which gives a detailed explanation of all the topics, but I don’t have time to read the book so I plan on ignoring it for the exam preparation. I do have a Kaplan exam kit from which I will practice fully. My question is that if I studied from all the materials opentuition provided, practiced from the Kaplan exam kit and ignored the Kaplan textbook, will I fully be prepared for the exam or reading the textbook will be a must to score good marks? And one more question is that are these lectures and notes updated, will these be good for giving paper in oct2019
However as we say throughout this website, it is vital that you buy a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers – they are full of exam-standard questions for practice.
We will not be supplying an equivalent free revision kit 🙂
Hi John, It is surprising to see your level of patience even after seeing a negative comment on this service that you all are doing… Sad to see how people can be so selfish and rude to demand over freely given service. Insane! I wonder why these people just don’t go for other ACCA approved websites and pay thousands and make their complaints on those platforms.
Have no words to express my thoughts 🙁
Looking forward to using and to support your service and thank you very much for all the effort you all put here.
hi sir its absolutely fine website with nice question practice although its free for students that’s what make it awesome but I have one suggestion please charge a nominal value for full classes because everyone is busy with their office timings and they all want full lectures please charge such a nominal value for your classes that everyone take this benefit and everyone can afford them even I cleared f1 examination with your book reading several times thankyou so much for such a nice work you are doing
I don’t understand what it is you are wanting. Our lectures are a complete free course for each paper – the same sort of course you would get if you paid to attend face-to-face courses.
Mr John YOU guys are doing a wonderful and awesome job, and we pray that the good Lord richly bless you. Immediately I start working I will try by all means to be donating to this Org, so that others will continue to benefit. Thank you very much once again, thumbs up
Hello Sir, There is a question in the Revision notes on Stock Control on Free Inventory. I never came across this topic and would like to know where I can get more notes on this (Free Inventory)? Thank you.
It is a very minor thing – I wouldn’t worry too much about it. What is in the revision notes is as much as you could possibly need. If you want more then you are going to have to look in your Study Text.
Realise that I am only talking about free inventory. For the whole exam, you must make sure you have been through the full Course Notes and the lectures that go with them.
@nefur, The syllabus has changed a lot since 2007, and so has the whole style of the exam! Ever since the questions became 2 mark multiple choice the ACCA stopped publishing copies of the exams.
i have learnt alot from these open tuition notes, thanx. To all those that are siting for exams in December i am wishing you all the best and Gods favor upon you.

Thank you.
