Hello sir,
i would like to ask a simple question.
Is a covering letter same as report to management?
Welcome to my forum! Please note that new questions should be posted on a new thread with a suitable subject line.
Short answer – no – they are not the same.
A report to management has specific content – control deficiencies/consequences/recommendations.
A covering letter is a general term for any letter sent with an attachment (to describe what is attached and any caveats).
In the AA exam a covering letter may only be asked for when the attachment is a report to management.
