Workings location.

Hi Sir, In some of the questions, a note "Note: Any workings can either be shown in the main body of the explanatory note or in an appendix to the explanatory note." is shown. Most of the time I will use the spreadsheet tool as my workings, but my answer are typed in the word processor. Is it allowed to do so or I need to list it in the word processor again? Thanks
