Hello, I want to ask what books should I buy to study for this paper. I use bpp books because they are easily available but do I need both the big book and revision kit.?

Please see on our page of resources https://opentuition.com/acca/aa/ the note that you must have an ACCA-approved revision kit. If you make use of all our resources – notes, lectures, practice tests and the ACCA resources (linked at the bottom of the download page and flagged at the top of this forum) you shouldn’t need (and won’t have time for) a text also.

So to sum up I only need to buy AA revision kit from Bpp and not the big book.

Perhaps you could download our notes and listen to a lecture for a chapter to confirm that it meets hows you want to study? Some students would prefer to just have a big book to wade through – I cannot say what is an individual student’s preference.

I always think that the key to success is to focus on few and not the many. So I am still considering buying the big book or not.
