I’ve gone through all the exam tips and think that nearly all aspects of the course have been included between them all .

Any feeling of what to concentrate on as last ditch attempt to revise ….

    Thanks

    Hi
Presently, I am practicing past paper questions on consolidated cash flow statements. What have you been emphasizing on?
I believe you must have a sound knowledge of all IASs and IFRSs, as you can never be sure what may come for Q2 and Q3. Sadly, the recent exams have shown a tendency for ‘mixed bag’ questions testing various standards in one question.
    Good luck with your revision!

why sadly? I think it’s better that one standard that you don’t know would be tested. if several – at least you should know smth on any of them 🙂

    Hi Vidi

I’m mainly concentrating on cashflows and fx questions for Q1 have done few soci aswell just in case ..
Q2&3 covered in great detail IFRS 9 (ias 32 + 39) convertible bonds etc ..
Share based payments seems to be a common one..
Impairment and leasing was in student mag ..
after that im just hope i can rememember the other standards done through my studies

ogh, I think this exam is really a hard one. 🙁 the more I read, the more I understand that I don’t know a lot of stuff (or forgot from F7)

is there an exposure draft on impairment then?
I’ve seen the articles on student accountant about leasing and financial instruments.
Dont know if this is right, but i read somewhere that the ED on hedge accounting was released too late in the year to be tested. Do u guys agree with this?
