If you are planning to submit in P31 in November 2015 there are two very important matters that the OBU Office want all students to be aware of:
1. You have to have passed the Ethics module by NO LATER THAN 30th SEPTEMBER 2015 AND
2. The mentor you use MUST be on the registered mentors list.
NOTE: Although someone may have once been a registered mentor this does not necessarily mean they are still listed. Non payment of the ACCA annual subscription results in all those mentors in default being removed. OBU will also remove mentors guilty of misconduct. It is the student’s responsibility therefore to check that their mentor is fully registered in accordance with the current ACCA-OBU Rules.
Any student who has NOT passed the Ethics Module or one whose mentor is not still fully registered and paid up to date with their ACCA Membership will NOT be accepted by the system when they try to load work for P31 submission and therefore the work will be rejecte
All previous mentors from P29 and P30 will sent an e-mail in early October to inform them that if mentoring students for P31 they must be listed. All work submitted using a listed mentor will be checked back to the mentor i.e. they will be asked to verify that they mentored the student named and the RAP submitted that session.

I have submitted my Ethics module long ago but I was informed that it will be stored in the database and they will communicate the result of my work when it has been assessed. This will be done at anytime and I should not worry.
But up till now I have not received any reply from ACCA and this issue of mentor seems new to me since this was not in the requirement when my work was submitted.I am really concerned because I have been waiting for their response for a long time. What will you advice me to do for me to finish with this part before September end. It is about a year or over now.

i think you should email them immideatly.it takes 2 days for them to respond so it may be late.i dont know what country you are in but if you havw access to acca national offices do call or visit them they may be of good help.also login to myacca and check if on the ethics module is written completed in red
My mentor is ACCA qualified but not currently on list. If I wish to submit my P31 RAP in November is there a time limit for my mentor to apply to be put on the mentoring list?
@denisel – your mentor must be listed by the time you upload your submission. Apparently there is a mandatory field on the submission page where the mentor’s name must be entered (I believe it will be a drop down list). This is checked to the mentor database automatically triggering an email to that mentor who has to confirm that they mentored you in accordance with the OBU rules.
You will NOT be able to submit your work if your mentor’s name is not in the drop down list and work that a mentor has not confirmed will not be marked
