Hey there Mr. John, sorry for bothering you. I was just wondering about the lecture you recorded in regards to value at risk. I’m a little bit concerned as I cannot seem to find any mention of this topic in the OT notes, and I’m fully reliant on the notes for my studies.
What topic does this fall under? Is it part of portfolio theory, and will the lecture you recorded be sufficient or is it necessary for me to try and use the notes of one of the publishers for further studying?
Thank you for the wonderful p4 lectures, you’re without a doubt my favorite teacher.
Thank you for your comments.
Value at risk is a separate topic in its own right. It is not in the lecture notes themselves, but with the free lecture there is also a note to download (with the example printed). The lecture (together with the note attached to it) is all you need for Value at Risk.
