General ACCAvaccination required to enter an exam centre Ireland

If you received an email from ACCA advising you of this, I would take it to be a requirement. There are certainly CBE centres that are run by the British Council (for example) for which this is a requirement. I have just checked the ACCA www and cannot yet see confirmation of this but I will enquire now for further information.

Hi Kim, Thanks for the response. I rang them this morning and they said that it could be either a vaccination or valid covid test. I asked them to send this to me in writing. They did sent however they said that this needs to be verified by local government now and they will come to me. I have checked with citizens information in Ireland and it says in their website: The EU Digital COVID Certificate (DCC) helps citizens move freely and safely within the EU during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is proof that you have either: Been vaccinated against COVID-19; Received a negative test result; or Recovered from COVID-19 in the last 6 months I hope they will confirm it soon Thanks Paula

But I cannot follow up with ACCA independently without knowing what was in the email that you referred to in your original post - who/which department of ACCA was this from? Subject line? Date and time of sending?

Thank you Paula. In summary, this is where things stand as at this minute: ACCA is still in the middle of sending precautionary measures information to December sitters. For example, there is a requirement for the Cork and Limerick venues to show "a valid COVID Cert" and ID which is in line with Government guidelines for accessing premises of this nature. (The British Council is running the exams in the hotel venues for these locations.) "A valid COVID cert" is NOT limited to proof of of vaccination. See here https://www.covidpasscertificate.com/ireland-joins-eu-green-pass-program the section "How to get an Irish COVID passport" - you can be vaccinated, have a recovery certificate or a negative PCR test result - the latter will only be valid for 72 hours. As I am sure you can appreciate, rules and restrictions are changing daily (even hourly!) around the globe and ACCA will be working flat out to give students as much warning as possible of changes that might affect them. Thank you for raising the issue - I shall post again here any further update from ACCA.

Ok so at the moment I can get PCR test and will be allowed to do the exam?

As stated here https://www.covidpasscertificate.com/ireland-joins-eu-green-pass-program "If an individual has received a negative PCR test result, they will also be issued an EUDCC (EU Digital COVID Certificate) by the testing facility. This will ONLY be VALID for 72 hours. So there's no point getting a test until nearer your exam date - by which time I'm sure ACCA will have confirmed the requirements.

Hi Kim, Please see an email that I got this morning from acca: For Cork and Limerick centres only they will require a COVID cert for access to the venues. The covid cert/passport is proof that she has been vaccinated. This is acceptable to enter. The EU DIGI cert is also a proof that you have been vaccinated. So any of these certificates are acceptable. Would you be able to advise? Thanks Paulina

I cannot tell from your extract - does it explicitly state that you are required to be vaccinated rather than that you require a certificate? As per above a certificate is not limited to having been vaccinated, but caters also for recovery or a negative PCR test result (within 72 hours).

Hi Kim. This is all what I got from acca. Every time I ring them they tell me different information. I really need some help with this as this moment I don't know if I can enter the exam. Kind regards Paula

I have assurance from ACCA that NO communication has been issued requiring candidates to be fully vaccinated. However, valid certificates will be required where that is in keeping with local restrictions/guidance, etc. So, I reiterate: There is a requirement for the Cork and Limerick venues to show “a valid COVID Cert” and ID which is in line with Government guidelines for accessing premises of this nature - i.e. hotels. When the relevant page of ACCA's www is updated, I will post here - this is the page I am watching https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/student/exam-entry-and-administration/covid-19-exam-availability.html#December-2021-latest (at the bottom, the pdfs are still for September 2021 but are in the process of updating for December 2021).

Please see the recent email from acca that i got while ago: Please be informed that if you want to attend a Centre based exam for December-2021 session you will to take a RT-PCR test report which should be negative along with an Photogrphic ID proof for the exam. please note the validity of the report will 72hrs. Ok so they have not issue any communication that students must be fully vaccinated so I presume it means that the above email that i pasted here is correct- i can enter the exam based on the negative pcr test.

Isn't that the confirmation you wanted? And you got it a while ago? I don't think it could be any clearer!
