Hi, is anyone unable to book their next exam for December? I am trying to book SBR but getting this error message 'Scheduling for this exam will begin in the future.' Then is says the scheduling start date is 3rd November. Thanks
General ACCAUnable to book SBR exam
I have been able to book it now, I must have been trying too early after results being released
i still can't book SBL exam
@samah - I cannot find any reported system issues affecting standard portal bookings - if simply waiting and trying again doesn't help you will have to be more specific - where are you trying to book it for - where in the booking process do you get stuck - are you getting any sort of error message - or is it "hanging"?
Even i cant still book my SBR exam for ahmedabad
PLEASE give me something to go on - are you getting a system error? are you stuck in a loop? For example:
"English language is not available for scheduling the exam until [Date]"
"You do not meet the progression requirements to book this exam"
"Infinite Loading Wheel" or "White Screen"
"Payment cannot be made at this time. Please try again in 24 hours"
"No slots available for the selected location/session"
Log back into your portal, attempt the booking, and press Ctrl + PrtScn or take a photo of the screen the exact second it blocks you.
No slots available for the selected location/session
@kii this usually means that the booking system is technically working, but local physical centers are completely full.
I found the following advice:
1. Expand the Search Radius (The "Neighbouring City" Strategy):
ACCA advises students to instantly expand their search parameters in the Exam Planner. If they are looking for a seat in a primary city hub, they should search for smaller test centres or technical colleges in towns 1 to 2 hours away via train or car.
2. The "Daily Refresh" Protocol:
The booking system is incredibly dynamic. Students constantly shift their plans, cancel bookings, or fail to pay within the cart timeout window, causing seats to randomly drop back into the live pool. ACCA advises checking the myACCA portal multiple times a day—particularly late at night or early in the morning UK time—to snap up a canceled slot.
3. Contact ACCA to Force a Capacity Review:
If an entire region or country is completely locked out with zero availability, students must call the global helpline at +44 141 582 2000. If a critical mass of students logs the issue, ACCA's operational team will often contact Pearson VUE to open "overflow rooms" or allocate additional testing dates within that session window.
