    Dear all,

The subject: MSc in Professional Accountancy at UCL vs. BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting at OBU.

Both programs are open for ACCA students/ affiliates and members, one is slightly expensive than the other one, but the costs are not comparable to regular Bachelors or Masters programs in the UK.

In this topic i wanted to see what are people’s thoughts on these programs, in particular whether these two are mutually exclusive (i.e. are very different, so that both are worth to be done).

My inputs are: BSc in Accounting (from a very unknown overseas uni, 3rd country), MSc in Finance (same uni), ACCA member, 6y B4 experience in London.

Reason: i believe education is important, and having a degree from a recognized university is a valuable asset in setting up the career in London. Basically what i wanna do is literally replace my existing BSc and MSc with the reasonably prestigious one.

Question: what are your thoughts on the two programs and whether you’d be doing both or just the masters?

Any piece of advise is very much appreciated.
    Best regards,
    M

MSc from University of London / UCL is the highest level qualification with your options so it makes sense to go for it and the cost is reasonable and perhaps, do Oxford Brookes ACCA Global MBA too if you aim to become CEO or Managing Director one day.
