Some of us are still researching into how this paper can be made simple under exams condition. It looks as if there is no specific formula in passing it but I thinks lots of work is required especially when it comes to its practicalities.

    P7 is good paper!
First thing is to make good image of this paper in your mind, and say it yourself that ” I CAN PASS THIS” !!!

Now lets discuss the main points which are most important for this paper:
1- P2 and F8 knowledge, you should grip on accounting standards.
2- Read out the BPP text book with concept, not blind reading.
3- Move to the revision kit, must do the kit at least 2 times!!!
    4- Technical Articles.
5- OT notes for revision, and all material in P7 resources..

    That is it!!!

Read the examiners comments for this attempt and look what examiner expects? and then start your study..

You will easily pass this paper..

Never under estimate the importance of exam technique. There is a reason this topic covers 9 pages of Student accountant April 2012. Ever since I paid attention to this, I have been passing. In many cases just marginally and I know it is because I have understood exam techniques. The text books are long and by the time you finish, you have forgotten what you read in the beginning. So if you ever run out of time, past papers will save you. When you get stuck, that is when you go to the study tex to clarify. For that last two exams, I did past papers from 2007 to date and knew when I left the exam that I had passed. I have two more papers and I will use the same approach.

Good approach to but may be costly especially if reliance is on past questions. I feel knowing concepts of the topics and how they can be applied to various situations may be helpful. This paper is real time you are actually auditing in that 3hours
