In the exam instead of calculating the factory costs divided by total bottleneck resource hours , i took it as total hours of the factory. so both my ratios were wrong, will i lose all the 6 marks allocated to it? I calculated the throughput for both correctly though. very disappointed that i made such a silly mistake. 🙁

I’ve just realised I’ve done the same thing! I’m pretty sure they give marks for calculations and workings though.. I doubt if they award no marks at all?

Actually its the correct thing to divide the factory costs by total hours of the factory for me.

Hi, your factory cost equals total salary and other cost? Is this right? I made a mistake. Both ratios are less than 1. It seems be wrong.

I cannot really comment because I have not yet see the paper.

However, making one mistake does not lose all of the marks. The marks are not for the final answer but for the workings, so if there is one mistake but everything else was done correctly then you only lose one or two marks.
