Thank You & Advice for Next Paper

Hi John and the OpenTuition team! Just wanted to say a big thank you for all your efforts. I started my FA course partialy with OpenTuition on 27th July, sat my exam today, 27th August, and scored 94%! Really appreciate the support.

I also wanted to ask about my next paper. For the December sitting, I’m planning to take one Applied Skills paper other than F4. Since I’ve just completed FA, would you recommend going straight for FR while the knowledge is fresh, or would Taxation or Performance Management be a better choice? Is there any particular benefit to following the paper sequence, or am I good to go with FR after FA?

It doesn't really make any difference and so you are good to go for Paper Fr.

I wanted to ask if you were also going on lectures physically or you were doing studing by yourself with the help of Open tuition

Its takes a lot of time to go for lectures physically, plus you have to adjust with the pace of whole class or tutor's structure.

So I primarily used OT lecture of the chapter I'm about to start in Kaplan Studytext. Lectures give concept and practical application, and makes it easier to go through studytext, followed by exam kit.
