Good morning sir, may I ask a question of the termination of offer occurred in Chapter 4? When you explained the termination of offer when the notification of death informed, is it the case that when the offer hasn’t been accepted by the offeree, then the notification of death will end the contract and if it is the case that the offeree has become the acceptor, then the contract will still continue for non personal services? Thank you for reading through the quesiton!

Hi Ichen, Yes this is the correct analysis. Well done.

    Kind regards,

Hello and thank you so much for your reply! Just another question (sounds ridiculous), would it be the same if the offeree accepts the offer for buying the car and turns out the offeree passed away and will contract end or still continue?

    Hi Ichen,

If for example A (Offeror) offers to sell his car to B (Offeree) for say £20,000 and B (Offeree) accepts but later dies. There is still a contract in place and essentially the executors of B wll need to deal with the contract.

    I hope this clarifies.

    Kind regards,

    Vijay
