    Hi John,

    Hope you’re well. I have just been onto ACCAs website to see what the latest tech articles are and it appears they are no longer dated? Do you know why that is? It always used to be as then students could at the very least read the most published.
    Also, conditional probability has its own tech article but I haven’t seen this in any of the questions from the recent exam kit? I’m confused on if I need to know this as I can’t seem to practise it if there are no questions for it.

    It is because the ACCA feel that all the articles are useful, and just because an article is recent does not mean it will be examiner in the next exam (many articles are not written by the examiner and many articles are explaining questions that have already been in the exam).

    The article on conditional probability is really aimed at Paper FM. In theory it could be asked in Paper AFM (because anything from Paper FM is allowed to be asked in AFM) but it never has been and I would be surprised if it ever was.
