Hello,
Regarding your made up example( x died in 1st Jan 2018) why have you not deducted the taper relief?

Sorry to keep you waiting for reply but I have gone back to the example and as far as I can see I have dealt with taper relief – so I’m not sure about the basis of your question? Maybe you can be more specific as regards exactly what you think is wrong
