I have completed the whole FA syllabus and prepared for it. Do I need to go through the FA2 syllabus separately or does the FA (F3) syllabus cover everything needed to pass FA2?
The FA and FFA syllabuses are the same. The FA2 and FA syllabuses are different. However, a quick check of the syllabuses suggests that if you have studied FA/FFA you will have covered most, but not all, of FA2. The most notable difference seems to be partnership accounts, which are in FA2 but not FA.
I suggest you quickly compare the two syllabuses on the ACCA site in case there are any other significant differences – but I don’t think there are.
Yes that’s only thing I noticed as well. Thank you for confirming.
