I want to score a high percentage on this exam but I feel like it's impossible to remember all the rules. I wonder if the exam is going to test more of the fundamentals of each topic or even the little nit picked details. Kind of feeling demotivated haha.

Syllabus is very vast
If you listen to the lectures you will see at the end of most chapters there is a section on exam technique and this will answer your queries.
Some topics are tested regularly and some only occasionally and in this section of the end of the chapter I have tried to point you in the right direction.
