Hi,
I have been attending classes with Kaplan for Financial Reporting exam in June 2022 and honestly I do not understand content as I feel the tuition session was really rushed and I do not feel ready for this exam. Can I rely on open tuition lectures and notes to re-study content myself for a week and then have a go at exam kit from kaplan? Please give me some advice and tip on how I can scrape that 50% for this exam. I am also studying for AA exam in June 2022 so need to balance between the two.May 5, 2022 at 4:45 pm #654982Hi,
Yes, you can do this but you need to be very disciplined with your study timetable so that you give yourself sufficient time to cover both the subjects.
you will have picked up more than you think from having studied already at Kaplan and so a lot of the content covered in the FR materials on OT will be easier to understand.
Good luck!

In terms of my study timetable, how do you suggest I split between the two modules? Do you think I should do alternative days on each in the evenings? I work full time too, but will soon get some study leave. Please can you give me an example on the best way to prepare before the exam, especially for last minute learning and how I should schedule my timetable. This would be highly useful for me. Thanks.

The choice of what you study on a particular day is entirely up to you. You could split the week up and do a few days of one subject and then a few days on the other. Alternatively you could look at doing all of one subject and then all of the other. There is no right way to do it and it all depends on the individual.
Thanks
