I am resitting F9 in December – I have the study book valid for exams up to June 2018.
Is this still okay to use and has there been much change in the last 6 months?
I can see it has been changed from being called F9 to FM since then, so worrying they have also changed the syllabus?

The syllabus has not changed, and so your book is fine 🙂
If you are watching my free lectures then you do not really need a Study Text. The lectures are a complete free course, are up-to-date, and cover everything needed to be able to pass the exam well.
However you choose to study, what is vital is a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers. They contain lots of past exam (and other exam-standard) questions for practice, and practice is vital to passing the exam.
