Hi. I started the BT course on OpenTuition this week. Today, I found the Kaplan textbook and there are lots of topics that are not included in the OpenTuition. My question is should I cover these topics in the Kaplan textbook or not. Thank you for your response beforehand

As you know, Kaplan text is very large and our notes are more concise so Kaplan covers more detail.

You can try to learn all that’s in the Kaplan textbook. However, I suggest you use our notes and lectures and use the time saved to do lots of questions – a revision kit is essential. If you find a question about which you seem to know nothing and where the answer is not self-explanatory, then you can refer to the Kaplan text.

Question practice is essential. Don’t mark your chosen answers on the book – keep it clean so that you can redo question without a hint. Write your answers on a separate piece of paper. If you get it right, tick it in the book, and don’t go back to it until final revision. Go back to unticked questions. Dip in to questions at random during your revision phase.
