    Dear admin,

i am an acca candidate sitting in dec 2010 for p3 business analysis. I havent had the chance to start any form of studying or revision due to work schedules and other responsibilities. I am currently looking for an effective strategy to help me pass my exam and a colleague recommended your site. I am trying not to panick under the limited time pressure conditions and at the same time i want to achieve high marks in the sitting. I will appreciate some guidance in a study technique to adopt.
    regards,

    nnq

Download the notes and listen to the lectures (the notes are a transcription of those). Read the relevant articles in Student Accountant from the last 12 months.

Download all the P3 exams and answers and work through those. Note carefully how the answers relate back to the scenarios given in the questions. The key to passing this exam is application of techniques rather than explanation of techniques and theories.

Come back here if you have any specific problems.

    Hope that helps.

Thank you Gromit, this is very helpful as i am bombarded with so much it gets confusing knowing where to begin within such short notice. I have already started to listen to the video lectures and downloaded the notes and i have found it very useful so far. I will follow your advice and post any difficulties i may have as i go along. I want to score highly and move on to my last set of 3 papers in the next sitting.
    nnq.
