Sir are team-based, project-based and transnational organisational structures important?
March 3, 2017 at 6:33 pm #375344There isn’t much difference between team and project based: most teams are working on a project and all you need to worry about is that there are the right mixes of personalities and skills.
I wouldn’t worry about transnational.

One more thing sir, can you please explain this advantage of matrix structures.

Flexibility should facilitate efficient operations.”March 3, 2017 at 8:54 pm #375375It simply means that teams can form and reform to solve specific problems or implement projects. Without matrix structures employees are loyal only to their line managers and it gets rather territorial. Matrix structures show clearly that there can be two loyalties: the team and the technical department and are supposed to generate better cooperation.
Also, if teams are continually formed and disbanded, employees get used to change and to working with a wide range of people. Again, this encourages flexibility.
