are strategic change and process change one in the same? and hence harmons process startegy mix and incremental,big bang model for one in the same thing?

Strategic change
9y ago#1Process change is usually detailed, such as how can we improve how orders are processed. Strategic change is more fundamental such as changing form a cost leader to a differentiator or deciding to start selling to foreign markets.
The models answer different questions. Harmon's suggests how processes should be carried out; incremental etc looks at the scope and nature of the change and really zeroes in on risk (big bang being the riskiest).
