are strategic change and process change one in the same? and hence harmons process startegy mix and incremental, big bang model for one in the same thing?
thanks
Process change is usually detailed, such as how can we improve how orders are processed. Strategic change is more fundamental such as changing form a cost leader to a differentiator or deciding to start selling to foreign markets.
The models answer different questions. Harmon’s suggests how processes should be carried out; incremental etc looks at the scope and nature of the change and really zeroes in on risk (big bang being the riskiest).
thanks alot sir u cleared up a major confusion!
