    Dear sir, please explain the following ststement.
    Standard costing may be inappropriate in the modern business environment because quality is now as important, if not more, than price.
    This statment is true or false.

    Sir the word is the statment “if not more” is confusing me.

    It is saying that quality is as important and maybe even more important than the price. (Customers are just as concerned about the quality as about the price they have to pay.)
