Specimen paper

Dear Tutor, in section two, question 5, when calculating partnership profit, why they use 29700 (1 January 2015-----30 April 2015), I think they should use 3/4 29,700, because it requires to calculate for tax year 2014/15. would you please explain to me? many thanks
