Dear tutor,

If question requests that we Advise – should we still describe the situation if FRS 102 was applied and then the requirements under SME Accounting and then explain the differences.

Can you please advise on the most appropriate answer technique for this type of question?

Hi,

If you get a question on IFRS for SMEs then you would just explain the rules as they are under the standard, you don’t need to explain anything else.
