I got my result (32 marks) , this is quite lower than I had expected it to be. I had 2 blank pages between my second and third question. I am wondering if my third question is omitted to be marked. My third question was quite confident, so I chose to do it first and left some pages for second question. Did anyone successful in administrative review?

I dont think the marker(s) would really stop marking your paper (and skip your question three) when they saw 2 blank pages.

Even if they did miss it – it means that you only scored 43% (32 out of 75) in your first two questions. Are you really confident that you can score 72% (18 out of 25) for your third question?

Not trying to upset you, but i suggest you to let go and focus on the next sitting. Admin review is just a waste of time and money.

Thank you for your reply. I’ve heard that acca scan the answer booklet into computer then marker mark it using computer. I’m just scare of the person who in charge scanning process was not scan through whole exam booklet.

Tutors and students on this site have always strongly discouraged to go for an administrative review. Mike Little here, one of the tutors, has confirmed to not witnessing a single case where a candidate’s fail turned into a pass following a review.

So the best advice you can get is to save the money and use it to pay for a retake. Recheck your exam technique and/or your grip of the syllabus.

It seems take time, if I get fail status again through administrative review, I could miss for September sitting for this paper.

Yeah, I’m not suggesting that you go for an Administrative Review, that’s probably just a waste of money and time as said by others in this thread.
However, I do believe that this process should be more transparent….
