(unfortunately you might be hearing from me quite a bit until March, please do forgive me)
I was reading the notes and came across the share for share notes at the end of Chapter 8.
Total value of investment – $55,500.
However total consideration for acquisition:
6000
33000
14400Plus NCI invest – 2500
= 55900?
There is an extra $400 in my calculation. Do you know where I have gone wrong?

Thanks for this. This error has been in the notes since time immemorial and I keep meaning to correct it. You’re right – it should be $55,900
I’ve made a note of it this time on my schedule for corrections next time the notes are reviewed.
