ACCA wasn’t kidding when they said they added some new things to the syllabus. It immediately gets tested.
Overall I found it hard. But I guess that’s the nature of APM exams. It can be unpredictable. Your exam performance really comes down to whether you are able to connect the dots fast enough during the exam. Reading the scenario, and coming up with ideas. Both book knowledge and “street smarts” is really important.

Was it Framba supermarkets or store with opposite problems: one had to discount unsold items, and other one never had enough? What it was exactly asking about? Q1 Report evaluation -if it fit to purpose (Private Co was taken over by Government and became public sector), Calculation of EVA of divisions, BCG as portfolio of products – how it help to food industry Co, where Pies was a Dog

For budgeting. It was a 20 marker.
For 8 marks you are required to produce a flexed budget and comment on your results. The director is unhappy with the budgeting results/process in general.
The other 12 marks is asking you to identify the current budgeting method for three different products, suggest the “best” budgeting method for that product, and explaining the limitations behind your suggested method.
Brand awareness and brand loyalty was worth 10 marks.
Someone (the audience and the presenter) at a conference made a very misleading remark on brand awareness and brand loyalty. You should criticize their statements and explain the correct way to think about brand awareness and brand loyalty.

September 10, 2025 at 1:15 pm #719936Hello did anyone do the APM exam yesterday? My exam did not launch on 3rd so had to retake it on 9th! What topics did you get? I recall first was a bit tricky with Data visualisation and Physical and Virtual business models, second question was Lifecycle costing and risk aptitudes and third was BSC and innovation perspective.
