Dear sir/madam
I finished the AAA syllabus and worked 3 questions. I have not studied the material . Do you think I’m still in the to study for the exam. Or should I post pone?
July 22, 2020 at 7:34 pm #577694To have finished the syllabus but to have not studied the material are contradictory – to have finished the syllabus means that you have completed a course of study of the syllabus. ACCA recommends that students should practice questions for 6 weeks in the lead up to exams – including sitting a mock exam. Please refer to ACCA’s Study Support Guide which can be downloaded from this page https://www.accaglobal.com/ca/en/student/exam-support-resources/professional-exams-study-resources/p7.html
I generally advise that students should attempt a MINIMUM of FOUR exams’s worth of exam style and standard questions – i.e. 4 “case study” Question 1s of 50 marks and 8 x 25-mark Qs drawn from across the syllabus.
It is clearly stated here https://opentuition.com/acca/aaa “Practice is vital and you should therefore purchase a current edition of a Revision kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers”. You can obtain a 20% discount here https://opentuition.com/20-discount-bpp-books
You should also attempt at least one mock exam – you will find also in the BPP kit.
