I have attempted the AAA paper twice and last time I failed by mere 3 marks. I think I am not conversant well with the Accounting and Auditing Standards though I ran through the authorized book of both BPP and Kaplan.
Does anyone have link that I can go through for being well familiar with Auditing and Accounting Standards?
January 30, 2019 at 6:07 pm #503731See here my reply on a post with a link to ISAs – also “tip” on how to read https://opentuition.com/topic/isas-13/ If sitting UK version, this is a link to the standards published by FRC https://www.frc.org.uk/auditors/audit-assurance/standards-and-guidance/2016-auditing-standards.
You won’t find the same for free for IFRS but there are some very good and useful sites like Deloitte’s IAS Plus https://www.iasplus.com/en-gb/standards/standards#international-financial-reporting-standards
(there’s also a UK page if you are doing UK version). If you haven’t already used – I suggest you look at ACCA’s retake guide here https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/student/exam-support-resources/professional-exams-study-resources/p7/retake-guides.html and my article “How to tackle the AAA Exam” available at https://opentuition.com/acca/aaa/ (or the accompanying lecture).
