General ACCASelf study

I have been studying in an university for f1, f2, f3. However, I really didnt learn much from the professor and understood the lessons more using open tuition. Because of that, I decided to self-study & use open tuition the rest (p1-p9). Is this a smart move or is it better if I find another university/institute for the harder papers like p5 and p8? (theres a good institute in our area but the fee is expensive, so im not sure whether to enroll or not) Also, for all those who self-studied their papers, do you have any suggestions for other materials I can use besides open tuition, like books or other sites? Would love to hear your recommendations :))
