Hey All,
I’m currently finding the section C ratio questions difficult and wondering if anyone has some tips on how best to study for them?
I’m just planning to practice them lots but would be interested in what others are doing.

April 17, 2023 at 11:15 pm #683077Hey I recommend the BPP revision kit. There are so many section C questions in there. Also, every time you do a ratio question write down the ratio working. The more you repeat it the more it will stick.
I ran out of time for one of my questions in section C so I didn’t answer it and fortunately I passed with 54%, but could have been more if I had managed my time better! The best thing to do is work through as many questions as possible! Best of luck!
April 18, 2023 at 4:28 pm #683142I would agree with Suzanne1706. Especially with regard to question practice being important. I would also add that gaining an understanding of ratios will help with a number of ACCA papers. It comes up in different contexts and with different degrees of difficulty in a number of subjects.

May 22, 2023 at 8:22 am #684798Thanks Suzanne and Jon.
I also found this guy on YouTube who has made a series of videos that explain it really well using past exam questions –

Just thought I’d share in case anyone else is struggling with this area. The videos in the link above really helped in my thinking process.
