    Hello,
Does anyone have past acca question and answer papers in pdf. and could share? Only for 2022 exams would be a ok. I noticed that ACCA has changed system of past papers presentation and it is not possible to find answers to past questions. Thank you.

The company can still have control over another entity even if it doesn’t own 50% of the voting rights. E.g if the remaining shares are owned by unconnected individuals

moholinyane@2, welcome to the Opentuition forums. Whether control exists is dependent whether a dominant influence is able to be exercised by an entity over another entity or entities operating and financial policies. This has to be assessed as a whole and is dependent on a number of factors. Voting rights are important in there own right when undertaking this assessment. Also important are voting agreements, options to buy more shares with voting rights and instruments that can can be converted to something that gains voting rights. This is not an exhaustive list. The most important thing is to judge whether an entity has a dominant influence over another entities operating and financial policies. Hope this helps.
