    Hi sir,
I have been trying to sit and do one mock under exam conditions but facing a lot of issues such as :
    1. I cant focus and sit for 4 hours. My focus and motivation is gone in 1 or 2 hours.
    2. Sometimes I dunno what model to use or when to use. If there is nothing to use I feel I am talking nonsense. There is no quality in my answer.
    3. When I see answer models they are too sophisticated.

With one month to exam I am feeling very nervous

1 I can’t help you much with issue 1. You have presumably already passed exams that lasted three hours and this is only one more hour. Perhaps have a little 5 minute break before attempting the next question.

2 First look at the question and requirements using a common-sense approach. The requirements usually help you to focus on the issues you need to – otherwise they wouldn’t be very good requirements. Focus carefully on the precise requirements and identify where in the question the required information is (often pretty much confined to one exhibit). Then see if any model you know might help to support your conclusions and to extend your answer. Don’t worry if you don’t find a suitable model, but if you do make sure you use it, at least in part. So, if there seems the company is facing a lot of competition and a potential foreign entrant to the market, some of Porter’s 5 Forces might allow you to say something about entrance barriers. You don’t need to talk about substitutes and supplier power if they’re not relevant.

3 The model answers are often very comprehensive and complex. You must realise that no student will produce answers are long. Do what you can in the time, focusing on what you have identified as the key issues raised in the requirements.

I feel all of these things as well! As above, I’m just hoping that

    1) During the actual exam the adrenaline will keep me focused. As mentioned, i have sat and passed many 3 hours exams.

2/3) The Practice answers are extremely intimidating – there is no way I’d be able to produce something that complex and comprehensive in the time given; Am just hoping that what i am able to produce will be enough to pass
