Hello…
I hope that you are well…
I have 2 questions:
1-in Dec 2011-Q1b “parent’s prior experience in acquisition” is part of acceptability but in Dec 2013-Q1b it is part of feasibility.which one is correct?
2- in Dec 2011-Q1b “clash of cultures” is part of acceptability but in June 2010-Q2a and Dec 2013-Q1b it is part of suitability.which one is correct?
Thanks in advance
It is of no consequence. You can argue that a clash of cultures would:
Hinder feasibilility
Not be acceptable to some stakeholders
Or mean that our potential lack the lack of empathy makes the acquisition unsuitable.
It’s a bit like PESTEL where you can talk about tax under economics, politics or legal effects.
The important thing is that you identify a potential problem with culture clash or with lack of experience handling a takeover rather than how you label it.
