When calculating NPV how many decimal places should we round the values to? Some places in the kit I see 3 decimal places, some places 1 decimal place. Is there a general rule for how many decimal places to round the values to for the whole exam?
Most time we round to the nearest $thousand.
In section C questions you do not lose marks for rounding (unless the question specifically states to round to the nearest $hundred or nearest $thousand etc.).
In sections A and B, the question will either state the rounding required, or (for multiple choice questions) it will be obvious from the choices what rounding is needed.
