It is said that statistics don’t lie. However, I cannot believe that there are so many apparently intelligent people out there prepared to speculate about whether or not some innocent message in the internet contains hidden meaning about an exam result (that cannot be changed anyway) and that result will be made known to these people on a specified date 2 days hence.
One of you actually wrote “Why can the ACCA not release the results on 5th or 6th?”

If ACCA announced that the results would be released on 5th August, do you for one second imagine that this waste of time and excessive worry would cease? Or is it more likely that the worry would start 3 days earlier and would be just as intense and just as meaningless
It’s only been a handful of years since the result date was 22nd. ACCA have moved it forward by 2 weeks and still there are complaints

why do u always have to be so harsh? These speculations have existed in past sittings, not only this one and they somehow help to ease the tension.
