Kindly advise me my result has been withheld and referred to ACO. Author name on my file is abc and say that explain why the document properties have been removed from your submission documents and why the linked files have been removed from the embedded charts in the Research Report and the PPT slides
how can i prove the work is mine . i was working remotely with overseas company so my work was anonyms so was advised to change author name to abc . i dont understand how can i prove to aco the work is mine. please advise
I can see why the ACO are suspicious. Who advised you to change the author name though? and why would anyone do this unless they wanted to hide something? Changing properties in embedded files is going to considerable effort and you are not advised anywhere in the information pack to alter file properties for any reason. whatsoever…
The only time I have encountered a legitimate reason for deliberately altering the file properties was in respect of lawyers to protect their clients in specific circumstances.
As a former ACO officer I know that mentors write work for students and try to cover up their tracks. So you would need to show that this was not the case but if your mentor is already on the University’s ‘watch list’ and all their students have changed the file properties it will be deemed highly suspicious as there is no legitimate reason for this (but perhaps some nefarious ones)
