If you are taking the September exams remotely then you will have received emails from the ACCA detailing the procedures and will by now have checked that your system complies with the technical specifications.
Here is a short checklist of other things to remember.

Is a scientific calculator allowed for PM remote exam?
Today i took my exam F6 .Actually, i did know that we are not allowed to use paper for rough work which we used to do in exam centres. But when i started exam with all that check in process completed examinor asked me to put calculator away as it is scientific. This was really shocking for me at first instant .Please make sure you use simple calculator.Due to this issue i ran out of time and could not attempt 10 marks.
I guess it is because the scientific calculator is already included in the exam software.
@saftain - if it was a scientific calculator that is allowed please can you use connect form to let ACCA know ASAP - supervisors/proctors should not be refusing use of permitted calculators:

We are allowed to use standard calculator not scientific one.I had scientific thats why he told me put it away.
@saftain - I REITERATE - candidates are allowed to use their OWN SCIENTIFIC calculator in the exam. This is taken from ACCA's Guide to Session CBEs:
"CALCULATOR
An on-screen calculator will be available,
and students can choose between a
standard or scientific calculator.
Students are also allowed to bring their
own calculator to the exam, provided
it does not have the facility to store or
display text."
Had few exams, and scientific calc, always was a bit worried when "supervisor" told that we cannot have any devices that are able to display text. Think all scientific calcs can, and its not AND (store and display) but OR.
But nobody every questioned this.
Hello, sir i talked to one of ACCA representative on phone. He told me that you should read that article on acca site related to calculator in exam. Then i told her some of friends who has given exam today they have used scientific calculators and i asked her that should i apply for that mitigating circumstances option because i was unable to complete 80% of one of 15 marks question because i had not enough time to complete.Sir now asking you should i go for this option ?
To make a complaint about an exam centre or any representation concerning the conduct of the exam please see the section “If something happens at the exam centre that affects my performance, can I make a complaint?” here https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/help/exam-sessions.html#FAQs-about-sitting-an-exam
When you log in to myACCA, in the “My qualifications” section of the Student Portal you will see a link to “Centre complaints” in the list below the “Book an exam” link.
Note that the very strict deadline for submitting complaints is 22 SEPTEMBER.
Dear Kim sir,
I too had a similar issue on the day of my F6 remote exam. Had always practiced on a scientific calculator but my invigilator strictly told me off for using it(I was absolutely dismayed and panic-stricken!). But yesterday one of my friends sat for F9 remote exam and was allowed to use a scientific calculator( to my utter disbelief). So is it that scientific calculators are allowed only for certain exams and not for others(specifically is a scientific calculator allowed for F5 remote exam?).
Thanks!
@Noah98 You could take a scientific calculator even into AA/SBL which may require only basic calculations - you must report this to ACCA. Be specific - say at what point you couldn't use it - whether from the outset or part way though the exam).
Hello sir! I had taken the Performance management CBE Remote session exam. I had some technical issues during the exam. Firstly Keyboard was working very slowly, I had to wait for a bit to see on the screen what I have typed. I immediately contacted the invigilator and she told me that she is unable to help with this issue and told me to contact ACCA. Secondly, my screen got frozen multiple times and it took time for invigilator to restart the exam. This process totally wasted me around 10 minutes. After this the screen got frozen again just before the 7 minutes of ending the exam. This time even invigilator was unable to restart and ended the exam.Overall my examination performance was affected due to technical issues. I had sent mitigating circumstances letter to ACCA.Waiting for reply will they add me any marks for this issues? Please anyone reply me......
If you reported it in accordance with procedure, ACCA will consider what is appropriate outcome. If a mark is very very close to a pass, it could be credited as a pass - however, you are not going to get 10 marks added (for example). ACCA will consider all such reported issues individually and collectively to ensure fair treatment of all candidates who were affected by similar issues.
hi! Sir! on on 17th September my FR exam should have been but exam wasnt set! namely before exam start i installed onvue and send pictures did all requirement then asked to wait 15 min to start exam then i waited more than an hour at the end on screen appeared " dont worry we will reschedule your exam for free of charge! than i sent the letter to the acca about this issue still im have been waiting their reply! what i have to do could u give me soe advice. and do u guess why this happened with me?
Question around loo breaks!
Reading the OpenTuition notes it states that you can only have one loo break for no more than 5 minutes (seems fair) however I note that on the ACCA website it states no loo breaks allowed.
As someone who has yet to manage an exam without a loo break, a 4hr long SBL exam seems a bit daunting to say the least.
Kim Smith - could you confirm which is correct?

Perhaps ACCA revised their rules, just found this within the attached link:
Comfort breaks during your remote exam
You can take one bathroom break of up to 5 minutes during the exam. If you require a comfort break you should use the chat function to tell the invigilator that you are leaving your desk to use the bathroom. Then use the chat function again to let the invigilator you have returned. You may be asked by the invigilator to verify your ID once you return.
And *breathe* :)
