I have to appear in AFM exam in September 2022 which is my last exam remaining. I am currently in India and planning to travel to UK in September 2022.
I want to check if I book Remote Exam giving my location as India as of now:
1. Can I take the remote exam from UK if I am in UK in September 2022? Or
2. I will have to appear the remote exam only from India?
How does ACCA know where I am appearing from?
Kindly advise so I can book my AFM exam accordingly.

ACCA will know from your IP address where you are located. Also, the booking process requires you to do the system test etc in the location and with the set up that you will have for the exam – if that changes, and there are technical issues on the day, you would not have valid grounds to attempt the exam in the following week.
The advice, therefore, is that you book for the location where you know you will be and that you do systems test in that location before you book. You could try contacting your local ACCA office or using the contact page https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/footer-toolbar/contact-us.html for confirmation – or if there are mitigating circumstances why you might need to change location and any procedure that needs to be followed.
